It turns out that some audio company called Devon has found the perfect way to extract tons of money from the wallets of people who don’t know better. Just sell an ethernet cable as if it were created by God himself, aim your marketing directly at high-end audio enthusiasts – the $ will roll on in!

isn’t consumerism great… i picked up on the same article.
and your rock idea… yea, not so far off. except try 60,000 for speakers with a granite enclosure. why? someone has sixty thousand dollars to waste… on something that may have cost 1,000 to make… and thats including (and mostly) the granite and carving of said granite.
oh yea, and they were french. maybe that justified it?
